1-2 day seminar that uses a self-discovery method to determine your personal communication
style. Once the style has been identified the participants use role- playing and problem
solving to determine the most effective way to communicate with persons whose type varies
from yours.
In a 1-2 day seminar participants become aware of their communication styles and their
need to move from power struggles to the circle of awareness where effective communication
takes place. Participants learn how to use a step- by- step process to avoid deadlocks
and to move to conflict resolution. Both the assertive and non- assertive person sees
the strength and challenges s/he brings to the communication table.
In 1-2 day seminars participants learn how to effectively present to any audience. In a
step-by-step format participants identify their audience, measure the purpose of their
presentation, select the systems best used for implementation of the core message and
practice, practice, until the final product is just right for the presenter and the audience.
All participants learn a system for feedback that measures the effectiveness of the final
product.
Workforces have changed to include employees whose second language is English. Teaching
the fundamentals of English or reducing the accent of the manager who speaks excellent
English can assure a more productive employee, who is better able to respond to both
internal and external customers.
- ESL program usually begin with a basic assessment to select the most appropriate level
for instruction.
- At a minimum, 3-24 hour classes are recommended to improve the skills
of the employees. Documents and workplace challenges are used to develop a practical,
personalized curriculum.

can be handled during one-on-one sessions. Time frame of sessions depends on the extent
of the need..
