In this hi tech environment the soft skills needed to "sell" the hard skills
are often forgotten. In 1-day seminar participants become aware of the barriers to successful
implementation of highly technical innovations. Participants learn to communicate to overcome
resistance to change, fear of job replacement, fear of new technology and leave at the
end the day with skills needed to move ahead in a fast paced world that first needs to
rely on the teams and individuals who must be 'sold" for effective hard skills implementation.
In a 1-day class, participants learn how to use a personalized approach to time management
depending upon their goals, values and roles. The course combines good calendar planning
with evaluation of life's personal values and roles.
In 1 -day seminar participants learn the technique of mind mapping, a tool for organizing
ideas, just right for meeting planning, presentation planning, brainstorming and note
taking. Mind mapping is a tool designed by Tony Buzan, an expert in brain research.
Participants learn many techniques to become more creative. Even reluctant participants
learn that creativity can be taught, can enhance thinking in the work place and in personal
lives.
